New Zealand moves into level one at midnight 8th June 2020.  With this level the only COVID-19 restrictions in New Zealand are at the borders, where all people entering New Zealand have to isolate at a government designated location, luckily for some, it’s a 5 Star Hotel.  During level 1 Transworld can operate as normal but will still be taking precautions and staying vigilant, especially around hygiene for our staff and clients.

Thanks for your support.

The Transworld Team

  • Any visitors to our site will be recorded for contact tracing
  • We can now offer in-home surveys as well as remote surveys - depending on your location and your preference.

We look forward to being of continued service to you.

To ensure we are protecting our workers, yourself and our community, we have adopted the following methods below, along with working within the Government Guidelines during Alert Level 3 to minimise risk:

  • Received a signed health declaration from our staff to ensure their fitness for work
  • Utilizing Hand Sanitizer when working at residence/off site – where able
  • Washing hands with soap regularly
  • Bringing own towels for hand washing/drying at residence
  • Utilizing Gloves – where required
  • Maintaining regular hygiene – covering coughs/sneezes with tissues or into sleeve or arm
  • Taking own named and labelled water bottles
  • Greeting customers with a smile rather than a hand-shake and ensuring no hand to hand contact
  • Maintaining a 1-metre distance between workers where practical
  • Using crews from the same family where able
  • Notices and information displayed in offices and warehouse regarding hygiene and protection
  • Wiping down vehicles, tools, equipment and maintaining good hygiene standards at our facilities.

To protect our crew, when working in your home – we will be asking you to:

  • Sign a health declaration for your household
  • Minimise the number of people in your household on moving day, if practical
  • Keep a 2m distance from our workers at all times
  • Provide hand washing facilities for our workers

Thank you for your support, while we continue to keep NZ safe.

20.04.2020

Were back in Business from Tuesday 28th April and we are good to go!

At Midnight on 27th April New Zealand will move down to COVID -19 alert Level 3, this allows us to undertake furniture removal services, however, this will be under strict Health and Safety protocols.

Due to the level 4 lockdown, we will be dealing with an initial backlog of freight that we will be working hard to deliver to our import customers as quickly as possible, along with packing and uplifting our urgent export freight where required and servicing our domestic clients.

We do ask for your patience while we work through this but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries – our team is waiting for your call.

At this stage, we will still continue to offer sales surveys remotely or request a quote here.

Our branches in Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch will continue to remain closed to the public for the duration of Level 3.

We are scheduled to be operating at alert Level 3 until 11 May 2020 and will be monitoring this fluid environment and provide updates as these become available.

Thank you for your continued support. The Transworld Team.

26.03.2020

At Midnight on 25th March New Zealand moved to COVID -19 alert Level 4.

This means all our offices: Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch will be closed to customers for a minimum of 4 weeks.

As furniture removals is classified as a non-essential business by the government, we will be unable to undertake any operational collections or deliveries during the level 4 lock down period to ensure our staff and public remain safe.

All our staff will now be working from home and rest assured we will still be receiving and answering emails and can assist with all your enquiries whether it be for import, export or domestic work. We can also carry out sales surveys remotely where required.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you require assistance.

We will be monitoring this fluid environment and provide updates as these become available in our endeavour to stop to the spread of COVID-19 in New Zealand.
